HODL a term derived from a misspelling of "hold" that refers to buy-and-hold strategies in the context of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.  Here is the humorous origin of the acronym.


How do I transfer my ADA to you to begin staking?

NEVER EVER transfer your ADA for staking purposes!  ADA is conveniently staked by you only needing to delegate from within your wallet the right for your digital currency to be staked.  No ADA is transferred from your local digital wallet.

No, you can stake with any amount of ADA.


How do I rank against others that also own ADA?

When can I start staking?

Staking will commence with the realize of the Shelly implementation of Cardano.   Shelly will be realize early 2019.  See the Cardano Roadmap for the exact timing.  For now, join our email list to be contacted once we are accepting staking delegations.
